OcraBio operates a next-generation sequencing (NGS) laboratory, equipped to perform a wide range of applications including transcriptomics (including RNA-seq, single-cell and spatial transcriptomics), genomics, and epigenetics (including WGBS, CUT&Tag, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, etc.).
The lab primarily supports sequencing for clinical veterinary oncology, as well as multi-omics data generation for research in veterinary oncology. With our high-throughput capabilities, we also offer surplus sequencing capacity to other researchers at reduced costs. By pooling samples and sharing flow cells, we significantly lower sequencing expenses, making advanced sequencing technologies more accessible and affordable.

OcraBio’s Clinical Trial Research Centre at Rock Veterinary Hospital is a leading regional facility, home to the province’s only 64-slice dual-energy CT scanner.
This enables high-level applications such as effective atomic number (Zeff) mapping, whole-body perfusion analysis, neuro-DSA, virtual endoscopy, etc. Through our long-term strategic partnership, we’re able to offer highly affordable CT scanning services, supporting cutting-edge radiomics research while making advanced imaging accessible to all pet owners.
